Can I use my Carchamber to store my vehicle outside?
No, I am afraid not. Unfortunately the costs of manufacturing an outdoor version to withstand differering tempertures and weather conditions across the globe would be inhibitive.
Do I need to use a separate de-humidifier inside my Carchamber?
No, you do not. The Carchamber puts 50.000 litres of moving air around your vehicle, keeping it condensation free as moving air does not allow water droplets to form.
Does my Carchamber fan need to be running constantly?
Yes, you do as the Carchamber will not work efficiently without the air movement they produce.The fan life is also shortened if they are turned off as they designed to run continuously.
Does my vehicle need to be dry before I close my Carchamber?
A wet car can be driven inside just make sure that you open the excess moisture vent on the front door to allow it to escape 24/48 hours then close the vent when vehicle is dry.
Should I use a separate dust cover for my vehicle while in my Carchamber?
No this is not necessary as the air coming into the Carchamber passes through electro-static filters catching the smallest particles of dust and with nothing touching the paintwork it is better for it.
What if I have a power cut and the Carchamber fan stops running?
The Carchamber will not collapse on your car due to the semi rigid frame, just make sure when your power is restored it is operational.
How much does my Carchamber cost to run 24/7?
The Carchamber is designed to run 365 days continuously and the running costs are minimal, the power draw is just under 7 watts! Can I store multiple motorcycles in one Carchamber?
Yes, you can store motorcycles, musical instruments and amplification, furniture in fact anything you need to keep dry and dust free.
Is the Carchamber just for use during winter months?
No, The Carchamber is for use all year round, we suffer from condensation in the summer months as well as in the winter, the lawn has dew on in the summer when there is no wind, well that is condensation and the Carchamber will protect your car from dust also.
Will my Carchamber still work in a damp environment like my garage?
Exactly what the Carchamber was designed for, to keep your car protected in damp environments.
Is the clear part of my Carchamber UV resistant?
Yes, the PVC is U.V. stabilised, cold crack tested to -25 degrees with antistatic additive. The base of the Carchamber is oil resistant tarpaulin with nylon weave strengthening.
